About

I was raised in a creative family. When it came to doing anything imaginative I had freedom. It is because of my Mom that I can call myself an artist. My Mom and I have come a long way from making a mess with paint. We have both found a medium that brings peace to our lives. For her, hybridizing, and photography are her loves, and for me, lampworking.

I learned to lampwork in 2005, making small vessels with borosilicate glass tubing and a National torch. Currently soft glass beads are my passion. I work mostly with Effetre glass. I now use a GTT Lynx Torch and have been making beads seasonally since 2008.

My first child was born on December 7th 2010, his name is Lucas Elliott. Lucas amazes me; I feel emotions that I didn’t know existed. Becoming a Mom has given me a new respect for life. I am learning from Lucas and grateful that he inspires me to make beautiful things. Thank you for taking your time to read about me. I hope you enjoy my glass creations.
